These investigations demonstrated that by applying a low dose of delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (D-9-THC) and cannabidiol (CBD) to patients with ocular hypertension or early primary open-angle glaucoma, to evaluate the effect on intraocular pressure (IOP), and the safety and tolerability of the oromucosal administration. It was concluded that a single sublingual dose of 5 mg of D-9-THC temporarily reduced IOP and was well tolerated by most patients. View study
