As we expected, North Dakota had their signatures confirmed and will have legalization on the ballot this November.

A significant case challenged the foundation of asset forfeiture. It sounds like common sense but the courts ruled that a police officer can’t arrest a man with a joint and assume all of his cash is drug money. Officers have used this dirty trick for years.

Americans believe cannabis is better for people and society than alcohol. Given how much our country uses and supports alcohol, that's pretty big. More than 140,000 people die from excessive alcohol each year in the US while basically no one dies from cannabis. Besides the deaths, don’t forget about the horribly stupid things people do due to alcohol. Unlike cannabis, which calms people down, alcohol seems to make people dumb AND confident. ;)
