California Governor Newsom approved nine bills, including one that allows for interstate cannabis sales and direct sales by smaller farmers to consumers. Unfortunately, these provisions only take effect if cannabis is federally rescheduled.

Polls are looking positive in Maryland, Missouri and Arkansas - three states with cannabis on the ballot.

The uproar after the banning of US track star Sha'Carri Richardson caused the Olympics to re-evaluate cannabis testing. Does cannabis act as a performance enhancer, represent a health risk, or violate the spirit of the Olympics? World Anti-Doping Agency’s (WADA) thinks so as they kept the ban on cannabis. I guess they have a point as it might undermine the Olympic Committee's policy of being uptight. ;)
