President Biden announced his October surprise:
   1. Pardoning of 6,500 federal prisoners for cannabis possession
   2. Ordering to review the scheduling of cannabis
   3. Recommending other governors to follow his lead

We appreciate Biden making the move to clean the records of these people, which should help them. That said, no one was released from prison. And while analyzing scheduling sounds good, we are unsure what Congress will accomplish.

The majority of Florida’s medical cannabis patients say that cannabis has reduced their dependence on the more dangerous opioid medications. And California is giving $15M to localities to support equity applicants and offering $20M in grants for research projects including how to protect legacy genetics, the medicinal use of cannabis and stopping cannabis monopolies from forming. So the state made rules encouraging big business in cannabis and now they are funding research to recommend how to minimize this. :)
